![]() ![]() I don't know why, as I didn't inherently alter a thing in it. I've yet to figure out how to remedy that) also with errors appears to be Reincarnation. From my testing, it seems as though all abilities work fine, save for Belthezar's techs (he has some four or five 'summons', actually he builds mechanical machines, or that's what it is supposed to be, but it seems that when one has three or four of the summons, using one of them summons a random assortment of things, not the one that was selected. Like I've said, I'm not certain how well the balancing works. Of course, this is very hard to get, and also require the upgrading of Sorcerer and Naga-ettes to their respective higher classes. The Mystic Jugglers have something akin to three levels of spellcaster upgrading, and six further upgrades in which they can cast +20 armour for 30s on three or four units before running out of mana, and are immortal to magic themselves. ![]() Defend changed a bit) is extremely good in this case, and adds attack speed, but they can't move. ![]() Of course, the Rainbow adds an insane amount of attack damage. In fact, he has ten sword upgrades alone! Thus the only way to get to the Rainbow is to forego Life, Luminaire, and the three Lightning levels. Same sorts of thing go for one such as Crono, but he has more than 10 different techs. Oh, well), and lastly his ultimate which is November Rain. ![]() though I've since learned from my brother that none of the three are actually in origin Slash's. Let's see, for example, Slash has two ability upgrades that pertain to his sword (the name being for the first one the Slasher, and for the second the Slasher II) in addition, he has Tornado, Wind-Walk, three levels of a custom ability Blade Solo (named each after a song by Slash: Live and Let Die, Knock'n on Heaven's Door, and Requiem for the Godfather. I changed almost all the techs and abilities, however, and I think all of two buildings ('farm' and 'lumber mill') remain unchanged in any way. Thus it plays as WCIII normally does, just with different soldiers. I truly do not know how to figure my way through triggers and all those sorts of things, so all the changes are in the armies and descriptions themselves, and none in the basic gameplay. I kept seeing DotA on the lists of custom games on, and was thinking 'what the heck is that?', so checked it out once, so the name is familiar, but beyond that, I know nothing of most of those mods.Īnyway, as I said, this is essentially a melee map, albeit with different armies. Oh, and the computer AI doesn't work for the Mystics: they are an Undead race, but the 'acolytes' are collecting both wood and gold, which I suppose changes things beyond my understanding. I've only played it twice against someone, and both times he nailed me with his Black Dragons of Guardia. As I said, there are still some errors, namely with tiering, with Belthesar's techs, and getting the reincarnation for Flea and Melchior to work aright, but beyond that, it works. I have found that the character model I am using for Slash might not be the most apt. I have a thing or two to change, however. I'll make certain to do that as soon as I get home. ![]()
